Trailblazer Music Company, founded by Vazel McCoy, specializes in innovative music production and publishing. With over two decades of expertise, we craft high-quality music suitable for artists and licensing & sync opportunities in TV/Film and commercials.
Our mission is to produce creative, inspiring, and iconic music that transcends genres, embodying the essence of "Artistry That Fits."
In addition to his role as Founder, Vazel McCoy is a proficient producer, singer/songwriter, and musician. A skilled pianist, keyboardist, and organist, he brings a wealth of classical training and has shared the stage with notable artists such as Crystal Aikin (Sunday Best), Vanessa Bell Armstrong, Mike Phillips, Chris Turner (Prince, India Arie, Liv Warfield), and Jerry Harris (Israel Houghton).
Vazel's musical journey began in his hometown of Chicago, IL, and expanded throughout the Pacific Northwest where he has resided for 15 years. While in that area, he co-founded a music school for youth and young adults while also serving a host of businesses and non-profits with his skillsets. Currently, Vazel directs his focus towards serving companies and organizations through Trailblazer Music Publishing, specializing in licensing, sync, and original productions.
The Trailblazer Music Company team collectively possesses a rich background in R&B, Soul, Jazz, Gospel, Classical voice, and classic Hip Hop.
